Book Discussion Group
Summer Mondays, 11:30am-12:3pm, at Trinity (V), we continue our book discussion. This time, we start with an African classic, Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart (Anchor, 1994), for July 11, 18, and 25; on August 1, 8, and 22, we study Robert E. Logan and Tara Miller’s Becoming Barnabas: A Ministry of Coming Alongside (ChurchSmart Resources, 2014). Available from Rev. Ellen for a combined price of $17.

Viva Vineland! Reading Camp Mon, Aug 15 through Fri, Aug 19 8:30am ‘till 3pm
Each morning, students benefit from intensive reading instruction with certified teachers; each afternoon, we enjoy recreational activities and field trips. Reading Camp is designed for rising 3rd and 4th grade students, who are reading at least one-year behind reading level. There is no cost to participating students. A week of Bible-based learning and fun at Avalanche Ranch
In Vineland, Vacation Bible School (VBS) is Mon, Aug 1 through Fri, Aug 5; 5:45pm ‘till 8pm. Enjoy Bible stories, games, crafts, snacks, and music, as we take “a wild ride through God’s Word.” The program is free to participants. Design ideas for the new church
At last Sunday's coffee hour, our wardens, Ed Bowman and John Pearson, Jr., gave a vestry update on all of the developments regarding the sale of our two churches and the building of a new one.
